Pioneer LaserDisc Player Control
- Using a Mac
Pioneer does not offer a driver to control a LaserDisc player from a Macintosh
Computer. This is because a driver is not needed. The basic controls of the
LaserDisc player, ie., play, stop, scan, etc., are on the remote control and the
front control panel of the player.
To create a multimedia presentation that
will be demonstrated using a LaserDisc player controlled by a Mac, it will be
necessary to use a third party software package. The list below are companies
that offer software authoring system packages that may be used to create a
complete multimedia presentation.
