This player is a
Pioneer clone of the CLD-9000
(Japan). This was the first LD/CD Combi player able to play both laserdisc and
the new CD format. The player was also released in the US in 1984 an the
Pioneer CLD-900.
The remote control supplied with the Luxman was the RD-409.
